Newton Faulkner @ Oxegen

The English guitarist sits down with Stuart Clark of Hot Press

Stuart Clark, 20 Jul 2010

As an enormous queue gathered in front of the Hot Press Signing Tent to meet him, Newton Faulkner spoke of his music mentors, running into Dizzee Rascal, and his favorite 'disastrous' gigs. Though of course he has no reason to think so, the virtuoso admits it's still 'pretty freaky' to play in front of 30,000 fans alone.

Faulkner took the Oxegen Main Stage later where he finished with a rendition of Queen's 'Bohemian Rhapsody' to the crowd's delight.
