Our old chum Beardyman – he did us a marvelous turn at Electric Picnic 2010 – returns on August 4 for a show in the Dublin Button Factory. It’s an 11pm kick-off, with tickets €15.

Better-known to Inland Revenue as Darren Foreman, the Londoner is the beatboxer to beat all beatboxers, and charted last year with his grammatically challenged but rather wonderful I Done A Album.

He’s one of the most talented beatmakers in the world, but with his debut album finally on the shelves, Beardyman is moving away from beatboxing and into more challenging musical territory.
