After an appearance at the Hot Press Signing Tent, Villagers frontman Conor O'Brien sat down with us for a chat and song. The rising Irish star talks about playing solo versus with the Villagers band, Oxegen audiences and future tour plans.

He wows us with a brilliant performance of hit single 'Becoming A Jackal' before headlining the Hot Press stage the festival's opening night. Despite much evidence to the contrary, O'Brien bashfully brushes aside our suggestion that he is an inspiration to all up-and-coming Irish bands.
